Dilma Rousseff cut to 3/1 to lose 2014 Brazilian presidential election

Dilma Rousseff 3/1 to lose election

DILMA ROUSSEFF is now just 3/1 not to be reelected this year according to Ladbrokes.

Following reaction to Brazil's shambolic World Cup performance the bookies have cut the odds of her failing to secure a second term to 3/1, from 4/1 offered before the semi-final.

Those who believe events on the football pitch will have little or no bearing on Rousseff's campaign can take 1/5 she is successful in the upcoming election.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Brazil's World Cup implosion has definitely rocked the boat when it comes to this year's election. Rousseff remains favourite to secure a second term but the odds of her faltering have been cut."
