Manchester United summer 2010 transfer signings

Bet Asia looks at the players who have moved in and out of Old Trafford over the summer months.

Just three players have been signed over the summer months by Sir Alex Fergusson while 18 have exited, albeit eight of those were on loan signings.

Bebe has been the most controversial arrival after Sir Alex paid £7.4 million for a player he had never even met or seen live in action. It turns out that Bebe had been offered to PSV in May for free but they had turned down his agent because they had never heard of the player.

Chris Smalling and Javier Hernandez are the other two arrivals at the club.

Goalkeeper Ben Foster and Danny Welbeck are the two players who have left, Foster because he is looking for first team football and Welbeck to get more experience at Sunderland. Welbeck is believed to be highly rated by Fergusson but considered in need of more first team football.

United are 12/5 second favourites to win the Premiership with Sportingbet and can be backed at 8/1 to win the Champions League, which means they are considered the fourth most likely team to win Europe`s most important club competition.
