Celtic boss 8/1 to be first SPL boss to go
NEIL LENNON has been slashed from 25/1 to 8/1 to be the first SPL boss to lose his job following a disastrous five days for Celtic.
Sunday's home defeat to St Johnstone followed by Thursday's Europa League exit has put the Hoops boss under increasing early-season pressure.
Before a ball was kicked this season, Lennon had looked one of the safer SPL bosses in his post and was 25/1 to be the first to go, but that has all changed after an awful August.
McBookie.com spokesman Paul Petrie said: "Neil Lennon couldn't have had a worse five days and defeat away to St Mirren on Sunday would pile more pressure on the Parkhead boss."
Meanwhile Rangers manager, Ally McCoist has also been cut after they were also knocked out of Europe.
Petrie added, "McCoist is also under pressure and it could be a case of which Old Firm boss leaves first."
