England drift to third favourites for World Cup 2018 after Panorama

ENGLAND ARE now the third favourites with Ladbrokes to host the 2018 World Cup.

On the back of damning panorama coverage they have drifted out to 3/1 with Spain & Portugal the new 5/2 second favourites. Market leaders Russia have hardened to 8/11 which is the shortest price England touched as little as two weeks ago.

Only the Belgium & Holland bid at 40/1 is less fancied than England’s.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It’s doom and gloom for the English bid at the moment. The Panorama coverage opened a can of worms and punters believe it’s now Russia’s to lose.”
