The Milan derby has added importance this weekend.

Inter Milan will retain their Serie A title if they beat city rivals AC in this weekend’s crucial clash.
Inter coach Roberto Mancini has hinted that his team would be better to win the title on home soil the following week against Siena (on May 11th) because Inter would have more fans in the San Siro.

Given these comments I would be looking to back AC (who are the designated home team for this clash) the 6/4 for an AC Milan 90 minute win is my recommendation.


Roma visit sixth placed Sampdoria, and Sampdoria them selves have an outside chance of overhauling Milan and Fiorentina to a Champions League spot.

These two may well cancel each other out in trying to capture the three points and the Draw looks the right wager at the top priced 43/20 if you shop around.


At the bottom of the table Livorno travel to Atalanta needing three points.
The last time these two met they fought out a 1-1 draw, but I really can not see why Atalanta are such a big price at home this week.
OK so Atalanta really do not have anything to play for, where as Livorno are desperate for the points.

But 9/4 for the home team looks too big to me against a very poor bottom of the table Livorno.
