Serie "A" Picks

Stephen Fry has a pair of picks from this weekend's Serie "A" action.

Inter Milan take a six point lead at the top of Italy’s Serie ’A’ into this weekend’s round of matches.

With Roma biting at their heals in second place.

Inter entertain Palermo and I do not expect this game to be a one sided affair (Inter went out of the Champions League midweek to Liverpool having lost 3-0 on aggregate, and they may well suffer the dreaded hangover from their exploits).

In the corresponding fixture from last October Inter and Palermo fought out a 0-0 draw and I can again see this game being tight.

The best advice on this match is to have a correct score bet on 0-0 ( a huge 12/1 on the exchanges) and 1-1 which is a general 7/1 shot.

Roma have the unenviable task of hosting AC Milan to try and close the gap at the top.

Although they did manage to beat AC in the away fixture last October.
That game was a 1-0 victory (to Roma) and if you fancy that score line again, it’s a general 6/1 shot.

I think that Roma are the stronger of the two sides and would have an interest here on the 2-0 score line available at 11/1 on the exchanges
