Expert Picks - Serie A

This weekends renewal of Serie ‘A’ sees AC Milan travel to Empoli.

AC were humbled and you might even say humiliated by Arsenal in the Champions League this past midweek, it ended 2-0 to the English club but that did not tell the whole story.
Milan looked jaded and out of their depth against a younger and it could be said fitter Arsenal side, so the reigning Champions have now to focus on their home league for another season.

It is often said that Champions League teams suffer a ‘hangover’ after their European exploits.
Empoli won the reverse fixture in the San Siro 1-0 and given their tough midweek match I would be siding with the home team in this fixture.

Game #2
Having beaten Reggina 3-0 at home in January Inter Milan will be looking for a comfortable win to cement their place at the top of the table.
Given the odds for an away victory I think it will pay to cover a couple of correct scores at larger prices.
