Saturday’s games

Udinese travel to an out of form Catania, although I think the visitors are the favourites I don’t think there is much value. The prices are not attractive and Catania have been very strong at home so far this season. Best to leave this match alone in my view.

Juve will travel to Lazio, hoping to build on their title claim. Both sides have been out of sorts lately and picking the winner isn’t as clear as one might think. Juventus (-¼) isn’t a terrible bet but I think I’ll pass this time.

Sunday’s games

Parma have particularly strong at home this season, they welcome Reggina who are just one place off the bottom and who’s away form has been terrible. Reggina have managed to put together a little bit of form recently and that coupled with the fact that Parma have a lot of injuries makes them a reasonable proposition. I recommend a one point bet on Reggina (+½) at 2.10.

Fiorentina are having a very poor run of form and they will travel to Sampdoria in the hope of stopping the rot. Sampdoria will have other ideas, they have only lost once at home this season and will be hoping to claim three points and move towards the UEFA Cup positions. I recommend a one point bet on Sampdoria and a one point bet on over 2.5 goals at 2.11.

I would consider backing Roma (-½) against Torino but the price isn’t great and both sides have been inconsistent lately. None of the other games represent much value for me.
