Saturday’s games

Lazio welcome Catania, in the hope of moving away from the relegation zone. Although Catania are in much better shape than Lazio the form of both sides is unpredictable and I would stay well away from this match.

The other match on Saturday sees Palermo host Fiorentina. Palermo come off the back of two heavy defeats and will be hoping to bounce back, the Viola are still in 5th place but their form of late has been awful, not winning in their last three games. I think Fiorentina will be too strong and are fair value at the prices on offer, I recommend a one point bet on Fiorentina (level) at 2.05.

Sunday’s games

Atalanta are in good form, they will visit the Stadio Olimpico where they will play Lazio in a game that both sides will be looking to win. Despite Juve’s strong home record they have struggled for victories lately. The visitors smashed Napoli 5-1 last week and so will be in confident mood, they are in sixth place in Serie A and will be hoping to strengthen that position. At the prices on offer I think there is some value to be had here, I recommend a one point bet on Atalanta (+1) at 2.18.

Despite their movement away from the bottom of the table, Livorno will have their work cut out when they host Roma. Roma are in great form, they have not lost away from home this season and having won their last three games will be in confident mood. I think there is some value in backing Roma and so a two point wager on Roma (-½) at 1.73 is the recommended punt.
