Saturday’s games

Empoli will travel to Sampdoria in the hope of getting themselves out of the drop zone. Sampdoria will have other ideas as they won 3-0 in their last game and will be hoping to build on that victory. I think this game will be very difficult to predict because both teams have a whole host of injury worries. This match is a no bet for me.

The other game on Saturday sees Napoli travel to Palermo, the two sides currently lie 7th and 8th in the league and this match rates to be a closely fought encounter. Palermo have drawn their last five games and the manager is under significant pressure to get a result. Napoli have been in good form, but they had a disappointing result in their last game, drawing 1-1 with bottom placed Reggina. I think the bookies are spot on with their lines and there is little value to be had here.

Sunday’s games

Despite sitting at the bottom of the table, Reggina hvae strung together a couple of more solid results. It is true that Genoa are not performing well on their travels, but at the prices on offer it is difficult to resist a small wager. Have a one point bet on Genoa (level) at 2.45.

Remarkably, having looked at all of the other games on Sunday, there is very little value around and i think it is best to wait for a better betting opportunity.
