AC Milan have been in great form recently and will be keen to get another three points under their belts to cement their Champions League position. They travel to Ascoli tomorrow and it would appear as though this will be a no contest, the home side are bottom placed in Serie A and are going down next season. However, they have shown a bit of fight recently and I think this could be closer than one might think. Not only have Ascoli had a series of solid results recently, but they went ahead twice against Lazio (who were absolutely flying) last week. Have a one point bet on Ascoli (+1 ½) at 1.82.

The big match this weekend sees Roma travel to Milan where they face Inter, if Inter win this match they will be impossible to catch and I am sure that Roma will not want to let that happen. Roma responded well to going out of Europe, beating Sampdoria 4-0 and they look in good form, Inter have drawn their last two matches – amazingly their worst results for some time.Have a one point bet on Roma (+1/2) at 1.89.

Chievo will travel to Lazio in what should be an interesting match as both sides need points. Chievo need the points to avoid the drop, with two straight losses they are only just above the bottom three and will be hoping for any points to aid their cause. The home side will have been disappointed with their 2-2 draw with Ascoli and will be wanting to stay well clear of AC Milan by keeping their six point cushion in tact. Have a two point bet on Lazio (-1) at 1.96.

I am keen to oppose Messina at the moment, as they are in free-fall at the moment. But the bookies are also aware of this and there is no value in backing Reggina.

None of the other games represent great value for me and your money is best kept for another day.
