Sampdoria will welcome a struggling Palermo to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The home side will be hoping for three points to move a step closer to UEFA Cup qualification. The visitors will be looking to stop their recent run of poor form that has seen their nine point cushion evaporate, they have already slipped to fourth position and will be hoping to move back up to third. Both sides have injury problems and both have been struggling to score recently. The only decent bet I can see is Under 2.5 goals at 1.72 and that is worth a two point wager.

Sunday’s games

Catania host Reggina and will be hoping to stop their winless run that spans eight weeks now. Reggina have serious injury problems with a mass of core players either suspended or injured. Catania have injury problems too, particularly in attack, all of these factors point to a low scoring game. Have a two point bet on Under 2.5 goals at 1.70.

Livorno travel to Udinese for a mid-table battle. The visitors had a good result this week, coming back from two goals down to draw with Empoli. The home side have a host of injury troubles, particularly in defense, Livorno virtually have a full squad and I think they are good value. Have a two point bet on Livorno (+1/2) at 1.79.
