Weekend La Liga Selections

Spain’s title has been decided and so have the Champions League places.

So this week’s attention is now firmly set on the relegation battle at the bottom of the league.

Levante and Murcia have already been condemned but it now comes down to any one of the following four to go with them. Zaragoza, Osasuna, Rec Huelva and Valladolid.

Zaragoza take on Real Mallorca, Mallorca came from two goals down to beat Barcelona 3-2 last weekend and are on a five match winning run, its also worth noting that Mallorca could still make next seasons UEFA cup, and even though Zara drew last weekend (2-2) against Champions Madrid they have not won an away match since last October.

Go for the Mallorca win at the 7/5 available.

Osasuna have a tricky match also, against Santander, Santander need to take the full three point here to ensure UEFA cup football next season.

Take Racing Santander to win this one at the 13/10 available.


Lastly Rec Huelva take on Valladolid in what promises to be a real do or die affair.

Valladolid need to take at least one point from this match to secure their top flight status and I thing the 23/10 available for the draw looks like the right option.
