Primera Liga Picks

Selections from Spain's Primera Liga action this weekend.

After last weekend’s results Real Madrid have restored a healthy lead at that top of Spain’s Primera Liga.

Going back a couple of weeks it looked like being a tightly contested battle as there was only two points between Real and Barca.

Now the gap has been restored in Real’s favor to the tune of eight points with just eleven games to be played.

Concentrating on the top two , Real Madrid travel to Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday whilst Barcelona are away to Almeria on Sunday.

Deportivo sit in sixteenth place without a lot to play for this season bar pride in the league.
The last time these two teams met in the league was back in October of last year where Real ran out 3-1 winners.

If you fancy this score line again take the 18/1 currently available on the exchanges, if your like me and fancy another Real rout the Half Time / Full Time market makes sense at 9/4 (generally available) for a Real / Real win.

Barca will be without Lionel Messi (Injured) but I think that they have enough quality in their squad to take another three points this weekend.

I would be airing on the side of caution however and go for a narrow victory for the away team at the 6/1 currently available for a 1-0 victory to Barca.
