Arsenal V Chelsea

The first of this weekend's semi-finals gets underway at Wembley stadium at 17.15 (bst) on Saturday.

What a match this should be, with both teams playing some fantastic football right now and both progressing to the Champions League semi's this week.

The old Wembley Stadium hosted seven semi-finals from 1991 to 2000, the decision was then taken to send the semis back to the new Wembley last year where the largest ever crowd to see a semi-final was seen as 83,584 supporters for West Brom V Portsmouth.

Both teams have shown that they are top class performers, most significantly Chelsea, who fought back against Liverpool last mid-week when they were 2 goals down, that Champions League match was one to savour and the 4-4 eventual score line showed that Chelsea are certainly a team to be reckoned with.

I think that these teams are closely matched on current form, but I think Chelsea will just edge this fixture to make it to the final.

The +130 for a 90 minute Chelsea victory is good enough for me to bet.

Manchester United V Everton

The second of these semi-finals kicks off at 16.00 (bst) on Sunday.

After a stunning victory against Porto midweek I really do not think I will be looking past a Utd victory.

Everton have got themselves to this semi by beating Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Liverpool (after a replay) in the last three rounds and they will be confident of giving the Reds a game to remember.

The reason for betting Utd in this match however is that they now have most of the key experienced players back from injury, the pairing of Vidic and Ferdinand is crucial to their defence and with Rooney, Ronaldo and Berbatov fit and playing well they now have a full strength team, with the games coming thick and fast at this stage of the season fatigue is key factor, so I would not be surprised to see the team shuffled around a little for this fixture.

I think this could be quite a cagey match to start with and I think these two will be drawing at half time.
