Chelsea to go furthest in the Champion’s League?

Ladbrokes think that Chelsea will go the furthest of all the British sides in the Champion’s League and are offering 2.25 (5/4) that Mourinho’s men last the longest in the competition. Bet Asia takes a look at what the bookmakers are offering the punters this week regarding the Champion’s League action.

With five British sides still in the Champions League, the bookies have thought up a number of special betting markets.

Ladbrokes make an all-British final a 5.00 (4/1) proposition and an all English final 5.50 (9/2). In the who will go furthest market, Chelsea are the favourites at 2.25 (5/4), then United at 2.75 (7/4), the Gunners can be backed at 5.00 (4/1), Liverpool at 8.00 (7/1) and Celtic are out at 34.00 (33/1). Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: "United may be sitting pretty in the league but Chelsea looked best equipped in Europe." If you think an English side will go all the way then you can back an English side to win the competition at 2.25 (5/4) or a British side at 2.20 (6/5).
