Spurs through to the next stage of UEFA Cup

The London club has received a bye through to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup, subject to appeal from Feyernoord. The Dutch club were thrown out of the competition following crowd trouble against French side Nancy. Tottenham have been cut for the title from 8.00 (7/1) to as short as 6.00 (5/1) with Skybet. Bet Asia takes a look at how the betting markets have reacted to this news.

Martin Jol will be relieved at this news, stating earlier in the season that Feyernoord represented a significant threat. Although the majority of bookies have followed suit in cutting the price, Spurs can still be backed at 10.00 (9/1) with Bet1128.

Seville, who will take on Steaua Bucharest, remain favourites to hold on to their title, they are on offer at a best price of 7.50 (13/2) with Expekt.
