Newcastle are through to the next round but what else is happening in the UEFA Cup?

Bet Asia’s Ben Green takes a look at next week when the penultimate games of the UEFA Cup group stages will take place, which matches could prove critical and what the bookies think.

Undoubtedly the biggest game of next week will be current favourites Seville v AZ Alkmaar, both teams are tied on seven points at the top of Group C and the winner of this contest will be guaranteed qualification. Seville are currently available for the title at a best price of 7.00 (6/1) with Skybet and AZ are on offer at 21.00 (20/1) with BetFred.

Second favourites Spurs will take on Dinamo Bucharest at White Hart Lane in an important match for both sides. Tottenham lead the group from Dinamo and just need a point to guarantee qualification, three points for Dinamo would also ensure a place in the next round. Tottenham can be backed for the title at 8.00 (9/1) with BetUK.com, Ladbrokes, Sportingodds and Totesport. The Hungarian side are on offer in the same market at 67.00 (66/1) with Ladbrokes.

Another big match that will decide the group winner is Blackburn v AS Nancy, both teams head the group at the moment and a victory for either will ensure a place in the next round. Blackburn are on offer for the title at 21.00 (20/1) with Bet365, BetFred, BetUK.com and Sportingodds.

Ajax currently lie third in Group F and are in need of a victory when they travel to Zulte-Waregem. Even with their seemingly slow start to their campaign the bookies have them on offer for the title at 21.00 (20/1) with Bet365, BetUK.com and Sportingodds, Skybet and Sportingodds.
