Manchester United's 1-0 loss to Celtic, AEK's 1-0 win over AC Milan and Real Madrid's 2-2 draw with Lyon were the highlights of the round, although bookies said a Real loss would have been even better; Real came back from 2-0 down.
Barcelona, who must beat Werder Bremen at home in the last group match, are (4/6) with Ladbrokes to qualify for the next round but William Hill make them 2.75 (7/4) to not qualify. Barcelona have been pushed out to a top price of 7.00 (6/1) second favourites with Ladbrokes to win the competition.
Andriy Shevchenko is 1.25 (1/4) with Ladbrokes to score for Chelsea in the Champions League this season, despite again failing to hit the back of the net against Werder Bremen. He has played in four Champions League games this season without scoring but managed nine in last season's Champions League for AC Milan.
Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "It's been a slow start for Shevchenko but he's too good a striker to stay in the doldrums for long. It's a brave man who takes him on."
In the top goalscorer markets, Shevchenko is out to 50/1 to be crowned top goalscorer in the champions league with Wayne Rooney also on the drift to 40/1 from 25/1.
Fellow Old Trafford striker Louis Saha is 9/1 from 7/1 following his penalty miss against Celtic, whilst Thierry Henry is 25/1 from 16/1 after he wasn't among Arsenal's three scorers on Tuesday night.
Ruud Van Nistlerooy is 6/1 from 8/1 having notched against Lyon and Peter Crouch is 12/1 from 16/1 following his header against PSV Eindhoven.
