Staunton 2.10 (11/10) to leave before Ireland finish qualifiers

The Irish manager Steve Staunton is under pressure following his side’s loss to Cyprus (5-2) on Saturday, he now has the difficult task of facing the Czech Republic in Dublin.

FAI Chief Executive John Delaney is also in the firing line and is on offer at 3.50 (5/2) with Ladbrokes to have stepped down or been sacked after a series of poor Irish results.

Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchinson said, “We're odds on that the two men are still there this time next year and you could argue they have already reached their nadir. But another defeat will put further pressure on them both."

Staunton is on offer to remain in charge until the final match of Ireland’s qualification at 1.67 (4/6) with Ladbrokes, he can be backed to have left the side at 2.10 (11/10).

John Delaney can be backed to remain Chief Executive of the FAI until the final match of Ireland’s qualification 1.25 (1/4) with Ladbrokes.
