Celtic through to last 16
Despite losing 1-0 to AC Milan at the San Siro, Celtic have made it through to the last 16 of the competition. AC remain on offer to retain the title at 10.00 (9/1) with Ladbrokes and Hills, the Scots can be backed at 81.00 (80/1) with Bet365 and BetFred. Bet Asia takes a look at tonight’s Champions League football and examines how the bookies have reacted.
A bad night for the bookies as AC were heavily backed to win in the final game of Champions League Group D. Ladbrokes were forced to cut their price on the European Champions on no less than four occasions but couldn't staunch the flow.
Spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "We heard tell that the layers were running scared of a draw but nobody seemed to tell our punters who filled their boots with Milan. In the other game tonight, Benfica did Celtic a big favour by defeating Shakhtar 2-1. Both of those sides will bow out of the competition at this stage.
