Liverpool still alive

Liverpool kept their Champions League qualification dreams alive with a 4-1 victory over Porto at Anfield. The Reds have been cut for the title, now being offered at a best price of 16.50 (15.5/1) with BetChronicle.com. Benitez has been eased from 2.25 (5/4) to 2.50 (6/4) with Ladbrokes to be the next Premiership manager to be sacked. Porto remain top of group A but Marseille and Liverpool are both a point behind and they will face each other in France in the final qualification match. The French side can be backed to qualify at 1.80 (4/5) with Liverpool on offer at 2.00 (evens).

In group B, Chelsea thrashed Rosenborg 4-0, the Blues have now won the group and can be backed for the title at 10.50 (19/2) with Betfair. Rosenborg are still in second place and they will take on Schalke in Germany for the final match of the group stages. Despite only needing a draw, the bookies think the Germans are the favourites to go through, they are on offer at 1.32 (0.32/1) with Betfair, the Norweigans are available at 2.50 (3/2) also with Betfair.

Olympiakos are now level with Real at the top of Group C, thanks to a 2-1 win over Lazio, the Greek side can be backed to qualify at 1.42 (0.42/1) with Betfair. Werder Bremen defeated Real 3-2 and still have a chance to qualify, on offer at 2.42 (1.42/1) with Betfair. The Spanish side can be backed for the title at 13.00 (12/1) with Ladbrokes.

AC drew 1-1 with Benfica and that was enough to see them into the knockout stages, the Italian side are now on offer for the title at 11.50 (10.5/1) with BetChronicle.com. Celtic defeated Shakhtar 2-1 and are very close to qualifying, they are now on offer at 1.36 (4/11) with Coral.
