English sides impress in UEFA Cup

All of the EPL sides that played in the UEFA Cup were undefeated last night. Everton climbed to the top of group A thanks to a 2-0 victory away to Nurnberg. The Toffees have been cut for the title, in from 21.00 (20/1) to a best price of 16.00 (15/1) with Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Stan James and William Hill. The Bet Asia team takes a look at all of last night’s UEFA Cup action and examines how the betting markets have shifted.

In Group B, Aberdeen managed a 1-1 draw at home to Lokomotiv Moscow. The Scottish side are fourth in the group and can be backed to qualify at 5.00 (4/1) with Betfair. Panathinaikos lead the group, they defeated FC Copenhagen 1-0 and with two wins out of two look good for the next stage, they can be backed for the title at 41.00 (40/1) with Skybet and William Hill.

Fiorentina bulldozed IF Elfsborg, defeating them 6-1 and moving to the top of Group C as a result. The Italian side remain on offer for the title at 17.00 (16/1) with SKybet and Stan James. Villarreal also won last night, they defeated Mlada Boleslav 2-1 and can be backed for the title at 15.00 (14/1) with Skybet and Hills.

In Group F, Bolton had a great result, drawing 2-2 with current favourites Bayern Munich in Germany. The Trotters remain on offer at 67.00 (66.00) for the title, with Bayern available at 4.50 (7/2) with Blue Square and Coral.

Spurs bounced back from their slow start in this competition by defeating Hapoel Tel Aviv 2-0 in Israel. The London side remain on offer in the outright market at 13.00 (12/1) with, Coral, Ladbrokes, Skybet and Stan James.
