to lift the trophy and 1.80 (4/5) to progress furthest of England and Scotland’s remaining representatives.

Everton are 21.00 (20/1) to win it and 3.00 (2/1) to secure British bragging rights. Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “Tottenham and Everton will feel content with their respective groups, whilst Bolton and Aberdeen have it all to do. Bayern Munich will be the side to beat given the talent at their disposal and demonstrated by their fine start to the Bundesliga season.”

An English winner is a 7.00 (6/1) chance with the Premiership 17.00 (16/1) to supply both finalists.
