Chelsea impress in Spain

Following Chelsea’s impressive 2-1 victory over Valencia, new manager Avram Grant has been eased from 5.00 (4/1) to 7.00 (6/1) with Ladbrokes to be the next Premiership manager to leave his post. The Blues have been cut for the title, in from 12.00 (11/1) to 10.00 (9/1) with Bet365, BoyleSports and William Hill. Bet Asia takes a look at all of last night’s Champions League action and how the betting markets have reacted.

Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "It's a massive burden lifted from Grant's shoulders and given how difficult it will be for Abramovich to get any of his managerial targets in the short-term his position looks far safer."

The bookies will have been jumping for joy as a shock defeat unfolded at Anfield, Bentiez’s men lost 1-0 to Marseille and have been pushed out from 13.00 (12/1) to 17.00 (16/1) with BetFred and Coral.
