Ligue 1: PSG v Lyon Odds and Betting Preview

PARIS, FRANCE - Two of the Ligue 1 pace-setters meet in Sunday's hotly-anticipated clash at the Parc des Princes. PSG are 6/5 favourites at William Hill to take a crucial three points and possibly go top of the table, while Lyon can be backed at a best price of 13/5 with Coral. Victor Chandler are 5/2 that the match ends a draw.

PSG have enjoyed a fine start to the season after a summer of high profile spending. They have won five of their last six and are unbeaten since the first day of the season. New boys Kevin Grameiro and €39.8 million summer acquisition Javier Pastore have looked particularly strong for the Parisians, who are vying for a first title since 1994.

After a decade of dominance in the French game, Lyon will want to show PSG that they remain the team to beat in Ligue 1. Although without a title for three seasons, Remi Garde's team still boasts an array of attacking talent, including Bafetimbi Gomis, current Ligue 1 top-scorer.

A fairly tight game looks on the cards with 1-0 to the hosts a 6/1 possibility and 2-1 a more tempting 17/2 with Unibet. Stan James are 9/1 that the match ends 0-0 and William Hill are offering 9/1 on 1-1. Lyon-backers will find some bigger odds with 1-0 to Les Gones an 11/1 punt at Unibet and 2-0 available at the same price. Bet365 meanwhile are running a 'bore draw' promotion which could interests bettors - if the match ends 0-0 they'll refund all losing pre-match correct score and double result bets.

In the double result market PSG/PSG is 11/4 with Blue Square and Draw/PSG is 4/1 at Boyle Sports and Coral - potentially a more tempting bet given that 65% of PSG's goals this season have come in the second period. Lyon/Lyon is a 5/1 chance with Paddy Power.

The bookies fancy under 2.5 goals in the game, with 4/5 the best price available for under 2.5 at Boyle Sports and Bet365. Over 2.5 is 11/10 with Paddy Power while over 3.5 is a riskier shout at 11/4 with William Hill.

Kevin Grameiro's five goals in eight appearances for the home side sees him at a short 9/2 with Skybet and Sportingbet to open the scoring in the game. Bafetimbi Gomis looks a more promising option - Boyle Sports are going 7/1 that the French international breaks the deadlock.

The match kicks off at 2000 BST on Sunday.
