Barcelona need at least a draw in this game to be handed the La Liga title.

They are currently eight points clear of nearest rivals Real Madrid with only three matches left to play this season, so one point will be enough for them to take the title.

The last time these two met in league action Barca went on to win 3-1 last January, last weekend Mallorca lost 3-1 away at Sevilla, where as Barca took one point from their clash with Villarreal, they drew 3-3 after Barca had led the game 3-1.

Given that Mallorca really have nothing to play for in this game I am going to bet Barcelona to take the three points needed for the title, Mallorca sit in 10th place with no chance of European football next season and are in no danger of relegation.

Villarreal V Real Madrid

There is a real scrap to achieve European football next season in Spain`s La Liga.

Several clubs are in contention to take the coveted places, and Villarreal need to register three points here to keep their hopes alive for next season.

They currently sit in 5th place which is a European place, but with Deportivo and Malaga breathing down their necks they need to make sure they at least stay in the top five.
Second placed Real Madrid are secure in their Champions league place and are in no danger of being caught, last weekend saw them lose 3-0 away at Valencia and I am not sure that they are up for a fight at this stage of the season with nothing really to play for.
