Atletico Madrid V Real Madrid

The Madrid derby this weekend makes for an exciting match as Real try and close the gap on league leaders Barcelona.

Real ran out 2-0 winners at Espanyol in last weeks fixtures, whilst Atletico stunned Barcelona, the 4-3 home win for Atletico was another dent in Barca`s dwindling lead at the top of the division, they are now only four points clear of their nearest rivals Real, who themselves are nine points clear of Sevilla, so this is very much a two horse race.

Back in October Real beat Atletico 2-1 in a tight affair and there is no real reason to think that this game will be any different.

Real are slight odds on for the encounter but I would rather back them to win either 2-1, 3-1 or 4-0 in the correct score specials market.

Barcelona V Atlectic Bilbao

The reverse fixture ended in a 1-0 victory for Barca (Eto`o scoring in the second half) back in October at the start of the season.

And after a great middle of the season they seem to be struggling to hold on to any lead.

Whilst tipping Real to win (above) I also think that Barcelona will win this match and so keep the gap at the top to four points.

Barcelona are odds on and I would not take a very short price about them winning.

I do however think that a bet in the HalfTime/FullTime market could solve this problem, betting Barcelona to be drawing at half time and to go on to win the match in the regulation 90 minutes.
