Amazingly the last time these two met in the league Barca won 6-1, again Messi starred by scoring goals five and six.

The stats for that game will convince you that Barca should again take the three points, they had the ball nearly 70% of the time and had 23 shots on goal compared to Sporting`s 5!

Real Madrid V Racing Santander

Real are on a run of six straight league wins, the last time that they lost was away at Barcelona where they lost 2-0 on December the 13th.

All they can do is to keep winning their matches and hope that Barcelona hit a sticky patch that slows them down and so narrows the gap at the top of the table, unlikely as that seems at this point given that Barca are still 12 points clear at the top having only lost once all season.

Real must know that their title is slowly slipping away.

Real have a tendency of leaving their match winning until quite late on and for this reason I am going to advise the HalfTime/FullTime market, with the bet being Draw at half time with Real Madrid going on to win the match.
