Weekend La Liga Selections

Stephen Fry gives us his top selections from this weekend`s La Liga matchups.

Barcelona V Numancia

Top of the table Barcelona have a home match this weekend against Numancia.

Barca lead the table by twelve points and will be looking for three points here against a lowly Numancia who have only six victories to their mane this season and are in danger of slipping into the relegation zone.
Numancia beat Barca in the first of these fixtures on the seasons opening day (1-0) but I can`t see that happening again, now that the Catalans are in top form.

Betting Barca in the three way market is always price prohibitive and this week is no different with the catalans at around the 1/8 mark.

Try a correct score bet more for the price than anything else, with a punt on 4-0 at a best priced 9/1 if you shop around.

Bet Barcelona to beat Numancia 4-0 at 9/1.

Real Madrid V Deportivo

After being on the receiving end of a 5-0 thumping by Barcelona last weekend deportivo face the unenviable task of going to Madrid.

Madrid are second in the league 12 points behind Barcelona and will be looking to keep the pressure up on the greatest rivals.

Madrid beat Osasuna 3-1 last weekend and new (interim) president Vicente Boluda thinks the winger Arjen Robben is in great form and would not even swap him for Barcelona ace Lionel Messi.

Again Madrid are pretty large odds on with all the firms at around the 2/5 to 4/11 mark.

Try betting the HT/FT at a much easier to bet 11/10 if you get in quick (as it`s only available with one bookmaker).

Bet Real Madrid to beat Deportivo HT/FT (Home/Home) at the best priced 11/10.
