Mallorca come into this match on the back of a three one loss to Barcelona and Real winning a hard fought 1-0 against Villarreal.

Although Madrid (by their own very high standards) are not having the best of seasons they still find themselves in third place and fighting for next seasons Champions League places.

Confidence seems to be creeping back into the Madrid camp and they look kike that they can go on a winning run and put a string of results together, given that their injuries are getting lighter, going forwards they are looking strong.
