FA Cup: Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest Odds and Betting Preview

LEICESTER, UK - Leicester City and Nottingham Forest, two East Midlands Championship clubs, play out an FA Cup third round replay tonight at the Walkers Stadium. Leicester are a top price of 9/10 (bet £10 to win £9) to win the match on Betfair, which is live on ESPN. Forest are seven places below the Foxes in the table, and are 4/1 with most bookies, such as Bodog, Coral and Boylesports to win the game. The draw is available at 13/5, only with Sky Bet.

The two teams played out a 0-0 draw at the City Ground ten days ago, and this is a scoreline priced at 9/1 with Ladbrokes and Blue Square to happen again. In the event of a draw tonight, the tie would go into extra-time, and if needed, penalties. Leicester are best at 4/11 with William Hill to go through to the fourth round in any way, while Forest are priced at 12/5 only with Blue Square to qualify from the tie.

Leicester are having an underwhelming season in the Championship, positioned in 15th out of 24, after many pundits tipped them to get promoted to the Premier League this season. They have plenty of Premier League experience in Kaspar Schmeichel, Paul Konchesky, Jermaine Beckford, David Nugent and John Paintsil, but manager Nigel Pearson said after their defeat to Barnsley at the weekend that the squad were suffering from 'delusions of grandeur' and that expectations were too high.

Forest are in bigger trouble however, positioned in the first relegation place in 22nd, two points off safety. Their away record reads won 3, lost 7 and drawn 1. Leicester are 6/1 to win 1-0 with Betfred, and 15/2 with Coral to win by a 2-0 scoreline. 2-1 to the home side is 8/1 with Coral and it is best at 18/1 on Betfair for a 3-1 home win.

58% of away games in the league this season for Forest have gone under 2.5 goals, and it is 4/5 on Betfair for under 2.5 goals tonight. There have been exactly 2.5 goals on average per game at th Walkers stadium this season however, and it is best at 23/20 with Bodog for over 2.5 goals tonight. Both teams to score is 21/20 with William Hill while it is 9/10 on Betfair for either one or zero teams to score.

Forest should have two stalwarts of league football leading the line this evening in Marlon Harewood and Marcus Tudgay. Harewood is 13/5 to score anytime tonight with Stan James, while Tudgay is a top price of 10/3 with Bet365.

Leicester's Jermaine Beckford and David Nugent are both best at 7/4 with Bet365 while Paul Gallagher is 9/4, only with Coral to get on the scoresheet. Matt Derbyshire, another former Premier League player, is  a bigger 5/1 to score, this time with William Hill.

Sporting Bet offer 11/1 for either team to win on penalties, 13/2 for Leicester to win in extra-time, and 18/1 for Forest to win in extra-time. The winner of the tie will face Swindon Town at home in the fourth round. The Foxes are 125/1 to win the competition with Bet365 and Stan James, while Forest are a top price of 250/1 with Bet365.

The match is live on ESPN and kicks off at 1930 GMT.
