TURF MOOR, BURNLEY – Burnley have had a disappointing start to their Championship campaign, having gained only five points from their first six fixtures. Tonight they are hosting MK Dons in the Carling Cup third round, and they will be hoping to finally find some form against their League One opponents.
Despite their poor run of form, Burnley are firm favourites to win the encounter, and can be backed at 1/1 (bet £1 to make £1 profit) with Ladbrokes and William Hill. MK Dons are on offer at 3/1 with Victor Chandler, whilst the draw is available at 13/5 with Ladbrokes and Bet365.
Burnley he won just one of their last six games in the Championship, and are currently floundering in twentieth place, only clear of the relegation zone on goal difference. They have won their last five consecutive League One games, scoring a total of nineteen goals in their last seven matches, and will certainly not give in without a fight.
